Riding a bicycle has always been fun for kids of all ages. Now, it is not only fun, but it is a way for a lot of adults to save energy and help slow down global warming. The rising cost of gas and diesel fuel today is another reason that the sport of cycling is gaining momentum. From the moment a kid gets his balance on a bicycle, there is no holding back. It is a moment that stays with most riders for the rest of their lives. I wonder if there has ever been a study done that would list how many bicycles, on average, a person would own in his life time. That would be fun trivia. Now you can even browse the internet and see the vast choices offered to you from the comfort of your home, another way of saving energy and helping this planet. Tandem bicycles, among the list of countless models, are also gaining popularity. I guarantee that if you have fun riding a bicycle alone, you will have double the fun riding tandem, at least until you really get used to it. It is almost like learning your balance all over again. So, join a bike club, ride with your family, just get out there and enjoy the outdoors. Keep fit, save energy and have fun!
