Description of the game of hunting whitetail deer

The Game of Hunting
Labels: For serious hunters only
When you start wearing war paint on your face and use it for a camouflage excuse, IT IS NOT A GAME ANYMORE!

Ah, don't get spooked! This whitetail hunting game is a game of strategies, planning, patience, observations, and more adjectives than I can think of. It is also about getting the right hunting equipment and outdoor clothes to keep you dry and warm. Having a good rifle or crossbow or compound bow will increase your confidence. Outfitters offer successful deer, moose or black bear hunts. Now it becomes a game of how much money is needed to accomplish the confidence you need!

Let's talk about the serious hunter, one that is willing to respect nature and the wildlife he is seeking. A hunter dedicated to his game will go one on one in the wilderness, hunting the animals that have unbelievable survival skills. He will learn by his mistakes. He will get frustrated before he gets good at it. He will hunt for years sharpening his skills until one day, he realizes that he must use all his senses, like the animals he is hunting, if he is to become continuously successful.

Some hunters use the aid of trail cameras to increase their confidence that the big bucks are roaming in their hunting grounds. Deer doe estrus is sometimes used at scrape or rub areas to attract the illusive buck that will become nocturnal if there is too much hunting pressure. A whitetail deer's nose is it's most lethal weapon, so some hunters use scent away products to avoid this arsenal. There is an assortment of deer or moose calls that imitate these animals. Some hunters use the actual whitetail deer antlers to "rattle" in some monster bucks!

This is not a game of catch me if you can. It is a game of developing your ability to recognize what is necessary for these animals to survive in the wilderness, and using that to your advantage.

It is a game of life and death!
